The idea of being associated with those popularity contests is bad enough and reprehensible to be sure but we’re let someone with some talent like our dear friend, Miss Victoria Hesketh, better known as Little Boots, off the hook just this once. This…is Meddle. A single from her forthcoming debut record produced by Greg Kurstin (The Bird & The Bee). Enjoy it, bop your head to it. A little on the Timbaland tip, innit? That, my friends, is a good thing to my ears. Nothing wrong with a bit of thump-thump in the indie electro scene if you ask me!

A bit of trivia. Little Boots is from Blackpool, England whch just happens to be the hometown of Chris Lowe, from the Pet Shop Boys. I think it’s fair to say Chris would heartily Miss Boots, no?
